Richard Greene is a native of Jersey City, NJ. He attended Grambling State University, on two scholarships, receiving a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Business Administration.
He has served as Division Director in Hudson County New Jersey, overseeing the county’s compliance procedures, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. He has varied experience in International procurement, processes, staff development and training, project management, public transactionary services which spans the private and public sector.
Richard has demonstrated ample experience as a public sector analyst guiding small business owners on process compliance and professional ethics in line with the rules and regulations of the governing state. He also extended his will to his community by participating in the youth development program as an instructor and mentor.
Prior to joining the board of FCL as an international partner, he has attained an excellent career in the field of Project Compliance
Some of his works are as follows but not limited to these:
- Created and developed a detailed oriented training program for small businesses within the perimeters of the county with future expectations to do business with county and local government. This was a first of its kind in Hudson County which proved success in developmental training for government business.
- The development program generated over two million dollars in contract opportunities and afforded these vendors within the twelve weeks of training certifications and licenses which is essential in governmental contracting.
- Developed and monitored regulations, rules, practices and guidelines for the County of Hudson.
- Responsible for all goods and service needs for the County of Hudson including managing purchasing, controlling inventory, overseeing operation and maintenance of all county vehicles and equipment.
- Sourced and negotiated pricing for goods and services with an annual aggregate budget under the bidding threshold.
